Summary
Hello Epic team, I am currently facing an issue that is hindering my ability to publish my UEFN map. The Creator Portal indicates an error stating that ‘experimental features’ are enabled, which is obstructing the publishing process. However, I have thoroughly reviewed all project settings and can confirm that no experimental features are activated in my project everything is disabled. What is particularly frustrating is the lack of a clear method to determine the source of this flag. I do not receive any errors in UEFN or Verse, and there are no indications in the logs or user interface that point to a specific asset or actor that could be responsible for this. If the issue arises from a hidden or corrupted actor utilizing experimental data, there is currently no means for creators to identify or rectify it on our own.
Request: I kindly ask you to consider implementing a more explicit indicator or warning system in UEFN or the Creator Portal that can:
• Notify creators if any asset or actor is triggering the experimental flag.
• Offer debugging information or references to the location of the issue.
• Enable creators to more easily identify and eliminate the problematic content.
As it currently stands, it is impossible to proceed with publishing or even ascertain what requires fixing, which can pose a significant obstacle for creators.
