Whenever I try to open a .uproject file, this appears. I have complete ownership of the file and it is open in the editor at the time of this screenshot. (This happens regardless if the project is open in the editor)
The problem is likely to do with your E drive, sometimes a network related problem, try to open the project directly from the Epic Games Launcher, as long as you have access to it one way or another. There should be videos on resolving this error on google I’m not convinced it has anything to do with unreal. Need more details like your version of windows, where/if you initially created the project etc.
I have windows 10 pro build 19044.1706 and its not just this file, its all .uproject files. The file in the image I created, but the problem also persists with other files I didn’t create that are also on C: drive.
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Unreal? It might just be a corrupt file and needs a fresh install
