Most of the time, when trying to capture a frame in Renderoc in PIE (either using the AutoAttach setting in the plugin project settings or using -attachRenderDoc) the Renderdoc client starts but no frame is captured.
Sometimes it works (but it’s very rare).
I am using Renderdoc v1.41 and the renderdoc plugin, no special change.
Pix is ok.
I don’t know if it’s a known issue, I had that for a while in previous engine/renderdoc version.
Thanks for reaching out. This does not seem to be a known issue. Unfortunately I have not been able to reproduce your issue on my end (using Renderdoc v1.41 in Unreal 5.6 PIE). Would you be able to provide some more details about the scenes where capture fails (e.g. are they close to hitting the memory limit), platform or GPU and driver? Do you also see this behavior in a new blank project?
Hello, thanks for the feedback. I will try that on a Vanilla project. However, I think that I found that the path to the rdc dll was manually added in the windows path and it seems that it was causing issue with the plugin
