UEFN Publishing Error - Approved by email but not going live

Summary

Summary:
I’m experiencing a publishing error in UEFN. Every time I submit a new release, I receive a “Publishing Error” in the Creator Portal. However, shortly after, I receive an email confirming the version was approved. Despite the approval email, the update never goes live.

I have already tried:

  • Creating multiple new private versions
  • Making small changes before resubmitting
  • Changing the project version number
  • Clearing browser cache and switching browsers

This seems related to ticket FORT-1084657.

This happens when you switch brands, for example to Star Wars, Squid Game, or something similar. I have the same problem and have been experiencing it for over a year. It happened again today. Epic Games claims that the issue has been fixed, but it clearly hasn’t.
For me it happens when I reverted my map into normal Fortnite and no brands.

@Flak.

Getting someone to take a look.

i am having the same issue .

please this is very urgent, can you fix this as fast as possible today ?

Same issue here, with one difference that might help isolate the cause: this is my FIRST-EVER release for the project. It has never been published, and it has never used or removed brand assets (Star Wars, Squid Game, etc.). So the brand-switching theory does not explain my case. Creator Portal shows a publishing error, the approval email arrives right after, and the island never goes live — so no island code has been issued. Filed a separate report with full details here:

@Flak — adding a non-update, non-brand data point in case it helps.
