UEFN Migration of Maps totally Buged

Summary

I wanted to migrate a map with an average of 84K memory into a fresh project to just change the biome, but when it’s migrated the map got like 270K memory and the World Partition is still ON

Steps to Reproduce

Migrate a map into a fresh island
Check the memory increasing because the World Partition doesn’t work

Expected Result

Expected result : world partition should work and memory must be normal and not taking every actors in consideration at the same time

Observed Result

World Partition isn’t working and the avg memory is 270K instead of 84K which make the map impossible to work on for push/editing ect…

the problem is almost 2 years old and you have done nothing to solve it!!!

Dear Epic,

I wanted to ask again about the World Partition Bug,-the Memory Bug, because after migrating a Map, a significant Memory overrun occurs, and the original Map is not affected by this.

You’ve been aware of this bug since September 2023, and you haven’t done anything about it for almost two years!!! Now I wanted to migrate a map, and the bug has reappeared!!!

Can you make a Statment on this?




I’ll let you know if we need more info. This hasn’t been mentioned as an issue in a very long time.
