This is still an issue till today. Happens every time I try to create a project, covert a 1.0 island and in some cases when I try to open an existing project.
UEFN freezes multiple times every day for me, I use Task Manger to kill it and restart it.

Hey so Iāve been having the same problem, as soon as I launch Unreal Editor it works for about 5 seconds and then just freezes completely, I have to go through task manager just to close it and thats on the projects page or if i manage to make a project before the 5 second timer, then in the project itself but its just the blue screen background in the uefn creator itself, Iāve created a minidump if youād like me to send it. Iāve just got this PC itās up to date and all the compents are high enough standard to run it I built the PC exactly to run this and it just freezes so maybe there is a setting that I need to fix and if you have information on that Iād also appreciate it, etc. Thanks.
I want start to create a map with UEFN but UEFN is freezing when I start to create. Iām looking for a solution to unfreeze UEFN or Iām waiting a major update in the future.
My UEFN still freezes, often after clicking āsaveā. I just upgraded to a new laptop, hoping to fix this, but it did not. I also deactivated MS OneDrive, to prevent conflicts, did not help ā¦ Is everyone just living with it or is there a fix?

On my pc uefn loads to 90 % percent and then launches. but only appears on the taskbar, when i hover over the uefn icon its just a grayed out window. When i look up uefn in the resource monitor it says not responding. It causes my pc to lag terribly i can only use the task manager to end uefn. This happens with uefn but not with unreal engine 5 lmao unreal engine runs like a top. My laptop on the other hand can run uefn just fine. the only difference between my pc and laptop is my laptop has a nvidia 3060, and my pc has an amd 6750xt. not sure if thats the issue? anyone else with an amd card having freezing issues with uefn?
My UEFN freezes when I try to open the weapon. It happened three times in a row.
