Summary
After the Aug 7, 2025 UEFN update, the editor will no longer launch on Intel Iris Xe Graphics.
It shows:
A Feature Level 5 video card is required to run the editor. AvailableFeatureLevel = ES3_1, ShaderPlatform = PCD3D_ES31
However, my GPU fully supports Shader Model 5 (SM5) and DirectX 12.
dxdiag reports:
Feature Levels: 12_1, 12_0, 11_1, 11_0, 10_1, 10_0, 9_3, 9_2, 9_1, 1_0_CORE
Temporary Workaround Found:
Adding -d3d11 to the UEFN launch arguments in the Epic Games Launcher allows the editor to launch normally.
