UEFN Editor Stuck at 75 or 83% Daily - Never Loads

Summary

For the past days since the launch of the new UEFN version, I have not been able access my UEFN projects because the UEFN (Unreal Engine for Fortnite) editor upon launch from the Epic Launcher, always gets stuck at 75% or 83% these days. It just stays there forever. One time I event left it for 3 or more hours, but it just never moves past this point.

I have troubleshooted several things, such as:

1. Disabling any security software temporarily.
2. Logging in and out of the Epic Launcher.
3. Closing all from the PC Task Manager.
4. Launching Fortnite first and then the UEFN app.
5. Using the Verify function under Manager in the Epic Launcher under Library. But none of these works nowadays.

Today I launched and tried 3 times to launch the UEFN editor, but it’s always stuck. See screenshot attached.

Steps to Reproduce

Try to launch the UEFN launcher from the Epic Launcher, and it gets stuck at 75% or 83% when trying to launch the editor. See attached screenshot.

Expected Result

The UEFN editor do not want to load at all, so can not access any projects. Upon launch from the Epic Launcher > Library > Cilcking on UEFN app, it launches forever being stuck at XYZ%.

Observed Result

Same as above.

MORE ABOUT THE ERROR
This issue is not related to trying to access a project, the issue is related to launching and opening the UEFN editor from the Epic Launcher. What keeps happening is that I try to launch the UEFN app, and it’s either always stuck at 75% or 83%. See screenshot below:

PS. Tried at 3 different times in one hour yesterday, and everytime it does below.
Also tried with one time Fortnite open.

These days, I have to restart my laptop about 3 to 4 times before I’m able to open the UEFN editor successfully from the launcher.

How do I find the project ID?

@Flak Any news on this issue? We struggle with this every day. Such as today, for over an hour to just get the UEFN to launch from Epic Launcher.

@Flak For example right now I’m trying to access the UEFN editor. Fourth restart of PC, data cache cleanup, and manage > verify files since 4 am today. But it keeps getting stuck at 83% . . . Is there any work around for this, or a step by step guide you guys can give us to solve this..

HI @SKAIdragons I can take an island code too. Your project ID will be in the URL of your project in the creator portal. It’s a long number.
