This error has been occurring since v38.00. Some small projects can be opened. But larger projects load to, for example, 95% and then UEFN crashes and shows an error. I can’t open my project. Please help. It’s months of work and I don’t want to lose it. This happens to multiple projects, especially larger ones.
Tried:
Clearing the cache of both the project and Epic Launcher
I got it. The project loaded. The problem was in the Niagara asset. I moved Niagara out of the project and the map loaded. I have 6 Niagara effects here. These only differ in color, which tells me that the problem is not in Niagara itself, but that the file was corrupted during the upgrade. I recommend renaming the folders one by one to find the specific file that may be causing the crash.
@Flak pls take vision of this bug, is unfixable on my map, i alredy tried eliminating all assets and didn’t work, the crash seems completly random, not depending on witch asset im using
same for me , crash when i launch memory calculation (when is loading the map on the server), impossible to find a solution, i can’t publish my map sine 38.00 update

@Flak so i just tried now to start the session after the new update and the error keeps showing, this is a screen of the error i got just right now, those are the logs i just took after the crash, lmk asap because i spend thousand of euro in this map and im working on it from more then 1 year, is very frusrating that i can’t pubblish it anymore from more then 2 weeks.

@Flak pls let me know it’s been more then 16 days and i can’t start the map, i worked 1 year over it and i can’t even pubblish it because of this crash
Looks like the crash depends on verse, when i disable all my verse files the map don’t crash, looks like there is something in verse that is making the map crash, but i don’t know if is the real reason of the crash, what i did was create a blank project and import only my verse files into it, i was able to recreate the crash, even if the project had 0 assets, I hope i helped bi giving to you that information

the problem is that the crash is very strange, basically what i did was disable all my verse files and activate them 1 by 1 to see wich one will make crash the map, i have a total of 28 verse files in my map, the first 21 files didn’t cause the crash, then the last 7 works all together so i turned them on all in once causing the map to crash again, so we will say: yes those 7 codes are the main reason of the map crash, but then! if after the crash, i remove the 7 codes and start the map again, the map will CRASH! this doens’t make any sense!, im really sad about this crash becasuse all my work is stopped for this, and i don’t know what to do really.
