hi,
Here is a picture of the Crashed screen

Obviously Sent crash report done this twice on each PC Win 10 and Win 11

Is anyone else getting this? We’re unable to repro here.

On further attempts we found that we could reproduce a hitch locally but not a crash. We are looking into the cause of the hitch.

I am not sure if you are getting prompted with the crash reporter (it sounds like it), is it indicating that there was a fatal error? You may be able to continue and eventually get the island to load.

hi @nickolas.drake , @Flak

Found the UEFN log. First looked in Fortnite log
The last few lines show the crash
UnrealEditorFortnite-backup-2024.08.16-10.15.46.log (1.7 MB)

And another crash log
UnrealEditorFortnite-backup-2024.08.16-11.08.53.log (1.3 MB)

finally go this line in

[2024.08.16-11.22.14:223][ 85]LogOutputDevice: Error: === Handled ensure: ===
[2024.08.16-11.22.14:223][ 85]LogOutputDevice: Error:

Line 7594 in the log

[2024.08.16-11.22.14:223][ 85]LogOutputDevice: Error: Template Mismatch during attachment. Attaching instanced component to template component. Parent 'RootComponent' (Owner 'Default__WaterBrushManager_C') Self 'SceneCaptureComponent2D' (Owner 'Landscape_WaterBrushManager_C_0').

that is found in the log
UnrealEditorFortnite.log (1.1 MB)

The status of FORT-779775 incident has been moved from ‘Ready for QA’ to ‘Closed’. Resolution Reason: ‘Cannot Reproduce’

Thank you @Jimbohalo10 :purple_heart:

Perfect, that is the same thing I hit locally. We are working on a fix, no ETA on time yet but we are aware! Thanks!

I am getting a related issue Time of day island setting is broken

That’s being looked at here: Time of day” acts like it is set to “Default”, overwriting/ignoring any settings & devices
