I already want to add slow motion to be available with headshots as an option. And as i watch how you attached the camera to other actors i became the idea to do also something like you see in zombie army fro example where you see also se the bullet fly before the impact.

Looks like you use time dilation before moving the camera to a point where you used like line trace the location and the attach the camera at a pre defined point. Am i on the right way with this?

No predefined point. The ā€˜Stickyā€™ Cam is aim ā€˜center-screenā€™ and click on-demand. Time dilation is also activated on-demand as well.

Ah ok thank you for the info.
So it is always the same cam you can set up just at the center of the screen if it hits an obstacle if i understand this right.

Really a very good system if used right.

I must elaborate, that ā€˜yesā€™, a line trace is used to determine impact ā€˜center screenā€™ via camera forward vector.

Your Flash moves more like a drunken Flash :laughing: this is why i after waking up in the morning mover very slow to avoid bouncing into walls and doors.

If the following AI still only use ā€œmove toā€ this is really cool at this speed. Did not know this work at this speed.

It looks ā€˜drunkā€™ because its difficult to control at character velocity of 1,000,000 even with time dilation set to .01.

Speed Force Effect. I call it the LightForce :slight_smile:

Iā€™ve been pondering over ways to pull off a unique Speed Force Effect. I donā€™t want to use a wormhole, Yuck. My idea is inspired by the Starwars Hyperdrive Lightspeed Jump, but on Earth. This amazing visual helped me realize possibility.

It also helped me realize a problem: in order to use real Character Hyper movement (11,000,000 MPH) no time dilation, i need to artificially lengthen the distance traveled between Locations. Imagine drawing a 1 foot squiggly line with no intersections between two points 1 inch apart.

My solution is use a Tunnel system similar SCTRT that texturemaps its interior with the exterior world using scenecaptures. I believe i can use this to create exhilarating non-linear paths between destination and minimize obstacle collision.

But firstly, I must design and test the effect using a linear path. This is what the test looks like so far. Iā€™m using Hyper Speed + FOV + 3D Flares:

Iā€™ve only just now discovered this project, but watching you grow as you worked on it is fantastic. I especially enjoy the recent update as not many games get the unique warping effect for that type of speed. I truly appreciate not only your discovery but you shared it with the rest of us which is very kind of you. Iā€™m now following this post because I love it when people try to take unique heroes like The Flash and recreate them as a passion project.

To avoid any copyright issues, I'm changing names, design, and adding powers I think a Speedster should have revolving around Light and Time manipulation.

Its my belief that in order to travel at the speed of light, atomic-based matter has to be converted to photons or other quantum particles (ie quantum super positioning) to manipulate time itself. So plenty of concepts to introduce and explain with fictional scientific theory.

There are plenty of The Flash Fan games out there. I honestly do not want to be another one of them. So I was adding other Heroes I would like to see. Some similar to existing like KRYPTON.

Disclaimer: Updates are sporadic and sparse. Iā€™m working on several game ā€˜conceptsā€™ and jumping between them as the motivations directs. Thanks Again.

Considering a new name and symbol for my version of the Flash in my Superhero Sim. Iā€™m thinking i just use The Speedster. I received permission from the CEO of The-Spot-Fitness to use their symbol which i think is pretty slick:
