UE5 Substrate material system

Is it recommended to use the UE5 Substrate material system in a formal game project now?

Will Substrate be switched to a production-ready state in UE5.7?

If our game needs to enable Substrate in the future, is it recommended to test it now? Because this change cannot be reversed. And has EPIC officially compared the performance difference between Substrate and traditional material systems?

We aim to roll out some final changes to Substrate in 5.7 that could make it production-ready. This would include performance optimizations on a wide range of platforms. However, as plans can always change, I advise you to hold off until the official release of 5.7 to decide whether or not you want to use Substrate in a production setting.
