As you can see, I am getting black noise from area’s where SSAO would usually be. This is the vanilla 5.2 project. It happens only in 5.2, both SWRT and HWRT Lumen.
5.1 it looked fine with FXAA so I know it’s not the Anti-Aliasing. It also looks the same when I’m not over the Vram budget.

You’re really well versed on Lumen but didn’t want to clutter the Lumen GI thread.
Figured I should just ping you since you might see it eventually but in case any others have issues it can be resolved as fast as possible.
EDIT-Removed ping, the cvar r.Lumen.ScreenProbeGather.ShortRangeAO was set to 1. I set it to 0 and bam, that ugly crap was gone.
Well hopefully this helps anyone who accidently encounters this.
I see, I read somewhere that the lumen team was tweaking their AO system a bit because it came with bugs. I’m inclined to guess that’s the case, so I wonder if it gets improved in 5.3. Thanks for letting me know!
