UE4 Freezes when ran with -DX12 arg on laptop running 2080 MaxQ without secondary screen

Still crashes for me with 4.24.1 and latest Studio drivers.

■■■■, I’ll do more tests, but I’ve ran 4.24.1 for about half an hour without a secondary screen without a crash.
On the bug page here: Unreal Engine Issues and Bug Tracker (UE-72117) the issue is planned to be resolved for 4.24.2

EDIT: Target fix is now for 4.24.3

for me crash come from geforce experience i uninstal it , made a fresh instal of creator studio driver and it works

Yes, the Epic Staff did mention that this issue is very much related to driver updates. Hopefully, this kind of complications involving a laptop with an Intel integrated GPU and a NVidia RTX card will be solidly fixed, won’t reappear nor suffer from any kind of regression again.

On the issue’s page, the ‘target fix’ has been updated to 4.25

  • that said I couldn’t reproduce bug with 4.24.2 and I haven’t tried to reproduce it with 4.24.3, yet.

Anybody know if this has been fixed in 4.24.3?

This is happening again. I have an i7-9750h with an RTX 2060 mobile (laptop) version, and every time I restart the editor after enabling DirectX 12, Skin Cache and Ray Tracing, it crashes. Looks like the issue isn’t fixed after all.
