Too much bloom!

Here is my Niagara System and I want it to look like in the 3rd and 4th images, but it only looks so when it’s an actor component and I don’t understand why it works this way and why it has so much bloom. Does anybody know how to fix this? Would really appreciate any help.

Hi,

I believe that the bloom you’re seeing is caused by the emissive of your Niagara particles with Lumen. In the blueprint editor, you don’t have Lumen so the emissive doesn’t bloom. Try to reduce the emissive on your material and it might reduce the blooming

Hope it help

Thank you, but it didn’t work. But I found another solution, I just turned off auto exposure in project setting and then set min and max brightness to 1 in PostProcessVolume.

Well technically, it was a solution because what you did instead was to turn off the auto exposure.

Make sure when you start a scene, that your scene is neutral. This is a good video to follow and very well explained: UE4 Neutral Lighting Scene Setup - YouTube
