@b1016103 - Speaking as a seller who’s made (and still makes) several updates to my assets, I initially also wanted some kind of ChangeLog in the MP. But I slowly realized how easy it would be to abuse something like that, releasing many ‘pseudo’ updates only to give the false impression that the asset is actually being worked on… So maybe it’s better way, I don’t know…

While I fully admit I may be missing something, I really don’t think the potential for abuse is that great. Aside from the fact that you could do the same dirty tricks in the description section, one can also usually tell the state of the pack by the supported version, the number of listed assets, or even the comments on the seller themselves. I also don’t see how it would be that easy to abuse the system without at least making some kind of an update in the first place. It’s not like sellers will start claiming that they just added “100 new meshes” without a basis, and I doubt that dozens of minor bugfix logs will fool or persuade anyone.
Anyway, that’s not a subject I thought about. I’m less interested in keeping track of how often a pack is being updated than the fact that I have no idea whether or not I have the latest version of the pack with all that it entails. I don’t (and can’t) keep the exact directory structure of the packs I buy, so I can’t auto-update and have no idea whether I may be missing the new content, bugfixes, and so on until I manually re-download and compare them—obviously an enormous waste of time and bandwidth. Having some kind of a last update timestamp on the pack would at least help me with that, and having the changelog section would help separate routine version updates from content ones.
