Even a short positive comment motivate creator to do something new.

Sure but it shouldn’t be a requirement to leave any review. It’s going to result in a bunch of packs with no reviews or 1 or 2 reviews and that isn’t a large enough sampling for anyone to know if the pack is useful or not. Imo there was nothing wrong with the old system. If I see a pack that has some reviews and its positive ones it definitely will sway me in buying something. As is it’s a crapshoot.

Agree. Looking, for example, at current FreeForTheMonth assets, you definitely can already see a drop in new Ratings in the same time span.
Makes sense, one click on the rating stars vs submitting even the shortest review with text and title and rating and who knows what else = significantly less engagement.
It should both - the previous quick and easy rating + an option to enter text.
Preferably with a requirement to leave a text review when someone rates an asset with the lowest amount (as there’s nothing more annoying than a 1-star rating with not as much as an attempt to contact the author and communicate what issues there might have been).
When content is denied form the marketplace, A few words as to why would be incredibly helpful for new devs trying to get in rather then just nothing. I realize that they have to get through alot but a simple, too expensive or lacking quality, or needs better description. like 2-4 words would be so helpful.
The New items shortcut link between On Sale and Vault on Marketplace page is gone and now the New items can be found only browsing down the marketplace main page… BUT the big question is… WHY? For what reason exactly ?
Hey guys, would it be possible to add an extra filter system to the marketplace and the library so we can enable/disable certain categories of content when we are browsing the market place.
e.g I’m doing a search in items for sale, but I don’t want any results that land in the “music”, “environmental” or “code plugins” categories to be returned/ displayed.
Thinking some thing simple like row where each category is listed with a checkbox next to it so we can enable/disable results as and when we please.
I would like to be able to filter out owned items and/or adjust the number of items per page. Every month, I end up scrolling through 12+ pages to see if I missed anything new. Not specifically marketplace but filtering the vault by type (plugin vs template vs content pack) and compatibility (checkbox for all compatible with 4.23, or 4.22, etc) would be nice.

Came here to request . Both simple ratings and word reviews should exist really…
A lot of the time i just want to leave a rating to show that i’m happy with my purchase. I really don’t want to have to write a review each time, im quite certain than there will be way less ratings left on packages with how it is now (perhaps that was the intention…)
I’ve been looking through post searching for ‘wishlist’ as i think it’s quite crucial for a store of any kind. A lot of people actually mentioned it, but it was never seen as a priority.
Can we add point to the ‘updates the community wants most’? Wishlists in stores are equally important for users (bookmark products to buy them at a later point, when the user has enough money or the price drops (sale)), and creators (keep track of how many people are interested in a product, then adjust pricing (or put product on sales)).
A series of banners like GOG or steam so I can browse multiple items at once and not have to scroll up and down huge title screens it makes browsing a real chore.
If you are going to have a sale post the discount. People are more likely to buy if they realize that something is 25% 50% or 75% off and do not have to do the math to figure out the discount. That is market place 101. every major retailor does . When people shop they have what they call an Anchor point. An idea of how much they think an item is worth. If they believe they are getting a fantastic bargain they may just buy on impulse. Your current sale does not list the percent discount requiring people to do the extra math to figure out the value. Most shoppers simply will not take the time, look at the price and leave.
Hello, would it be possible to have customizable categories in the safe? : D, that would be in my opinion very practical, for me it’s on
thanks

Yes, and I actually came here to suggest the same. I got hundreds of assets, it takes several minutes to browse them all, categories would help to filter the view. It would be also nice if you could add custom categories, eg. sort environments per theme type, such as sci-fi, fantasy etc.

I also think wishlist will benefit buyers and creators. It is like you mark an item as - If I can afford it then I buy it. And when the item gets discounted you surelly won’t miss it.
I ordered items, do not see any download, and cannot re-order because it says “purchased.” There is an option that says DOWNLOAD but all it does is highjack me to games.
Under explorer, I get an infinite loop of redirects.

Items are available at Epic Launcher and you need to have installed a UE4 release via launcher aswel. At launcher you will see your items available at left tab: Unreal Engine and top tab: Library.
Heh my launcher starting to lag spike because too many assets in the vault list, there must be some kind of filter implemented, maybe collapsible categories.

Yes indeed, or a simple detailed list with just the names.
