Textures and Meshes Appear Black Until You Open the Textures

Summary

Meshes appear black in editor because the textures are black. Opening the textures in the content drawer fixes it temporarily, but when you re open the editor different meshes/textures appear black. You can find all the info about it in this UE5 forum

All the issues talked about in that forum, are the same exact issues we are experiencing. A staff member mentions it being fixed in UE5’s upcoming 5.6 update, but UEFN is already on version 5.6. For whatever reason, at the moment no textures are black in my editor after reloading it several times, so I cant get a pic. There is a pic of a mesh with the black textures somewhere in the forum. That is what our meshes look like.

Steps to Reproduce

I don’t believe theres really any steps. Just import a few meshes with textures and it may or may not appear black. You may have to re open the editor to see the issue

Expected Result

Meshes should look fine, not black, with its proper textures

Observed Result

Some textures for meshes are black until you open the textures in the content drawer
