Texture look "whitish" despite of the sRGB option

I was trying to import my character and make the material unlit, but no matter the sRGB option I tried to activate or deactivate the models looks the same whitish:

Fixed. The problems seem to be the 16bit PNG texture I was working with.
I went back to Photoshop changed the Image Mode to 8bit, saved it again as PNG, and now it works and looks perfect as I was expecting.
