the floor shown red in the game but when I push changes in UEFN it becomes white and this happens with all props
this problem started to happen since chapter 6 update.
Obstacle course floor , even wood floors happens the same with it, and when I build an base for red vs blue map, the place where I place floor or wall it moves and rotates automatically, this problem happened with the other PC too, I really need help to fix it as soon as possible I can’t work on any project.
For the auto movement, check Disable Editor Cell Snap in World Settings.
OK in the props settings, the red comes from the texture data asset in the Primary Slot, OC_Base_Floor_Red, this overrides the props meshes standard material, the set to default arrow to the right, takes away the primary slot info and the tile becomes the colour of its mesh, which is white.
Scroll down a little further and the Allow Custom Material setting is unchecked.
Hovering over that it says allows the prop to use a data asset with the primary material slot.
So Allow Custom Material, should be on by default for any prop using the Primary, Secondary etc slots, but its not, so its a little bit of a bug,
I’m fairly sure if you tick that box it might solve the problem. But you’ll hafta put one down for each colour in UEFN editor first with that setting ticked, then use those to copy from in Edit Mode.
I did allow custom material but unfortunately didn’t work, it’s bug from UEFN it self I hope this problem get fixed in the next update. thanks for replying and helping.
