Temperature rise when light building

I just built this for the Engine…I7 6700 4ghz…32 ram…Asrock Fatality MoBo 6+…and Zotac GTX 960 Amp. GPU (GPU to upgrade later with whatever) Case runs 5 fans and the GPU has 2 as well the Mobo has Evo 212 whatever from Whoever attached to it…with Corsair 850 gold+ PSU…1 Tb. hd…no SSD yet…

Question is this…all the things I do on here are running temps 32c -40c until I build lighting in the Engine at which point it spikes to 70-75c and drops to 32 when built. Is this good bad or normal?

This rig is not a month old and I would like to NOT burn it up. This is my first computer build so I am sure I am doing something wrong…somewhere…

Thank you for your answers and suggestions…

Temperature rise is normal since all of the cores of the CPU except one are used at full capacity while building the lighting. However, how high that temperature goes is up to your rig.

First, This is not a computer-tech related answerhub and its not ue4’s fault that your computer gets that warm.
thats the fault of the person who build it, either they dont understand airflow (air goes in, air needs to go out) or your case is so poorly ventilated that even with proper airflow the core heat rises extremely.

well… or you live in a country where it generally is 50 degrees Celsius :stuck_out_tongue:
