Switch to DX11 in UEFN? to resolve-> Fatal Error: DXGI_Error_Device_Removed Crashes

My UEFN project keeps crashing, throwing the error in the attached file.
UEFN Error.txt (329 Bytes)

A few people have experienced it in UE5, and it seems the solution is to run DX11 instead of DX12. It’s not an ideal solution, but I just want to make my game.

Does anyone know how to switch UEFN specifically to DX11 (not Fortnite)?

Thanks!!

did you find any solution? going through this too

Sorry for the late response. I did not find a good solution except being on a really old driver version for my 2080 super. This was a while ago so I don’t recall which one it was but at this point the driver’s likely a year or more old. I believe this issue also caused Fortnite to crash regularly. Since I was ready for a new gpu and was frustrated, I jumped to an AMD GPU to go with my AMD CPU and I haven’t had any issues since. I also have an NVIDIA 3060 mobile with no issues so not sure what was going on but a tried a lot for days. GOOD LUCK!
