Just chiming in. This is happening to me as well. Just to verify it happens with custom keys as well. So, left, right, and backward movement regardless of what keys you have it set to. But moving forward is totally normal. Also, if you hold forward and a side movement key it does not happen.

Also seeing this effect on multiple published islands.

Someone on twitter mentioned that it only happens on islands set to the new BR movement speed tunings. And that seems to be accurate for my islands as well.

Hopefully they look into this soon because it carries over once you publish the maps… its so bad and stops motivation on working with new maps atm

Hey folks. Could someone give me an island code as an example?

Here are a few examples of the effects I’ve noticed:

  • Normal Controls with modified movement speeds: 8766-0163-5737

    • Stutter effect always present when accelerating up to max running speed.
  • Third Person Controls Device (side-scroller): 1297-7095-4999

    • Running then switching to opposite direction often causes stutter effect.
  • Third Person Controls Device(Top-Down): 2346-7831-3835

    • Running then switching to opposite direction often causes stutter effect.
