Spot light delay with Fog

Hello guys,

I have some spotlights on my danceflor and put an heightfog to make the light visible.

The thing is, that the light is turning completely off in the animation, but still leaves a light trail back.

Like I want to have it more instant, but still have this light visible in the fog.
How can I achieve that?

I’m working on something similar, unfortunately volumetric fog is working that way that you get “temporal reprojection”.
