Hi I am currently working on some shots and looking to achieve this light streaking effect you get when you adjust the shutter speed of your camera like the attached link examples. We’ve not found a way to get this look as changing the shutter speed on the UE cine camera does effect the exposure it doesn’t render streak lighting effect. From the limited sources I’ve found online it doesn’t seem that the engine will allow this?
I’ve changed the exposure to manual and then tweaked the shutter speed setting and the only thing that changes is the overall image exposure.
We have tried a work around using time dilation to speed up the shots but it’s not ideal and is quite shot dependent.
Could you assist on if this look is even possible and if so how it would be achieved?
