Shadows not changing to the scalability

Summary

The Shadows in the UEFN viewmode look like they are set to low even if the scalability is set cinematic. It also isn’t responding to any changes I make to the scalability settings. This randomly happened after an update last season.

Is this also happening on a newly-created map?

I know there’s no option to submit screenshots as a part of the bug report, but now that the report is posted you should be able to add screen shots of what you’re seeing.

Yes, it is effecting every Uefn project/maps even newly created ones.

I’m surprised that you you are saying the shadows look like they are set to ‘low’ - In my test, setting the scalability to low removes all shadows, but in the lower right of your screenshot it looks like there is a shadow on the ground



One thought: Maybe the time of day is different, so whereas you saw specific shadows before, now the sun is in a position that will not cast those shadows.

I know I said “It’s like it’s on low settings” but the more I think about it, it’s like lumen just doesn’t exist in my uefn. Do you want more screenshots for more context?

I’ve just noticed that in the EditorSettings.ini it keeps reverting back to lower scalability settings
