When using a Directional Light + Water Body Custom, shadows being cast on the water surface appear “blocky” and distorted, artifacts, etc. (please see image below)
No one solved this yet? I’m having the same issue, it only happens with lumen shadows, if you use ray traced shadows the problem goes away, unfortately I need to use Lumen for the God rays so I need to find a solution. I’ve seen mentioned that it could be the water material causing the issue, but I wouldn’t know where to start.
I think this could potentially be down to the light intensity, try adjusting it and compensate for the difference in your camera’s exposure settings if you can as I’ve noticed it go away when I was playing with the light intensity.
