My game has a Title finally!

If anyone is wondering, the Fairytales Woods are the forests nested in the Fairly Tales road, a tourists attraction in West Central Germany, where visitors visit many areas where many of Grimm Brother stories originated, sorry, I meant inspired.

My ongoing learning project, codenamed “ThunderGame” (aka “New Terminal Velocity”, maybe). I am having pleasant progress with endless world. Borrowed system of world tile placing from Cousins, modified a lot of things there, and will continue to do so. Procedural system places world tiles (actors) with certain count of those around me, kill off “a tiles too far”. I can choose grid size, grid cell size, auto tile resizing to grid, tiles random or not, height randomized or not, etc. Basic low-poly art by Dodge Ditchburn, i still love those green hills (since my first weeks with UE4 last year), and now i can have them infinite :slight_smile:

My ongoing UE4 learning project, codename “ThunderGame”. Learning UE4 while experimenting everything for Sci-Fi Aerial Combat. Primary cause for this, and inspiration - good old game “Teminal Velocity” (with some additional influences of Rogue Squadron 3D, Crimson Skies (PC), Archimedean Dynasty, Yager, Echelon Wind warriors).
After my initial experiments with infinite “GreenHills™” tiles, I started to try some ideas about technogenic environment.

My first gameplay video with voiced Protagonist. With VO, I notice a few bugs & polishing is needed. But I am happy, the prototype level feels complete now, just a little bit of decision making & polishing to go. Then I will be off to my holiday & focus on level design next.
