I just decide to try the free content called ScienceLab to experience SceneCapture2d performance and i found a curious bug.
i put my scene capture under the player start actor so i can move the camera with the keyboard.
This happen only when i use Final Color (LDR or HDR) not with Scene Color.
And it happen at some positions only it seems its when there is a light source or reflection behind the camera position … it looks like the specular component of the material is getting crazy
here is the result there is just a key press move between thoses 2 captures…
The shader of that sample project is quite complex but i dont understand why it wouldnt work in SceneRender2d
I’ve played with settings but im not able to get it to work , it does seem the scenecapture doesnt render the material specular the same way the playercamera render it
