Runtime Foliage instances management plan? (C++)

Hello!
I was wondering if there are any thoughts about giving control over the foliage instances (remove them for example) at runtime in C++ code. Right now, the editor differentiates between instances already (since you can single select them and delete them), will this be available in C++ or is it already? (I tried to work with it but there seems to be code that only works with the editor so from my time spent with it, it doesn’t seem to be a valid solution).
