RPG Sample Game

I would really want to see a multi-player future! :slight_smile: i bought this pack yesterday and itā€™s very nice, Iā€™m just looking around it right now, I will try to implant my own networking. But it would be awesome if that could be a future update! :slight_smile:

Adding multiplayer isnā€™t that easy of a task. Usually you would think about wether to include multiplayer before you start creating your game. That makes it easier to plan everything. Adding replication to an existing system is a bit more complicated and things can get messy pretty fast.

At some point I might consider re-doing most of the coding work to include multiplayer, however, this isnā€™t a priority right now. I am currently working on a big update with other features requested by the community.

The Kit is compatible with 4.11. You can just open it in 4.11 and youā€™re good to go.

I am currently working on a bigger update, implementing some of the features that have been requested in this thread.

The RPG Starter Kit is compatible with 4.11 - I sent an email to update the information but they havenā€™t changed it yet.

I am using the weapon here as an example: You can just set the ā€œCurrentWeaponā€ variable in the RPGCharacter to blueprint to ā€œnoneā€. To make the item appear in the inventory after unequipping it, you can use the ā€œGiveItemToPlayerā€ function. I assume you want to unequip an item when you click on it in the inventory screen? I can implement this with the next update if you want.

This is now implemented and will be part of 4.12 update.

Iā€™ve been working in the 4.12p5 at the moment and everything is working fine. As soon as 4.12 is officially released, Iā€™ll submit the update.

The update for 4.12 has been submitted to Epic and will hopefully be up in a few days.

The update is already live on Gumroad.

is this project dead I just updated to ue4 4.15 and it all broken I am very disappointment no more updates I want to purchase his Multiplayer Melee Combat System but if it just dies like it not worth it. I hope the developer will fix this please
