I am building a team based objective game mode. I’ve noticed that some of my direct event bindings don’t really work in round one but they always work in the following rounds. Is this a UEFN bug, do I need to skip the first round, or what is the general workflow. @im_a_lama you are my man with the answers, have you ran into this issue at all?
@UnrealFitz Thank you for your report! Can you please re-post using the “New Issue” option on the Issues and Bug Reporting forums? Posts with this feature are connected directly into our development team so we can quickly get to them! For more information, such as how to get the reference ID, please check out the article here: https://create.fortnite.com/news/using-the-creative-and-uefn-bug-reporting-form
Yes I will report this , that way as well. Thanks!
What events are they ?
Score managers are enabled when they shouldn’t be. I have them set to off, and then they are activated when a prop manipulator takes damage. However on the first round they are on when you join the game. Second round they work properly
So you got them Enabled During Phase - None, but they are not disabled when Round 1 starts, Can you disable them by Round Settings Device on round start ?
I haven’t used them turned off at start before, I usually just have the Activate event grant score when it happens. Do you have to have an Enable event before the Activate by Prop Mani event, or does the Activate event automatically Enable them ?
Ill try disabling them with Round Settings device.
So I have them off by default (enabled during phase none). I have them enabled when a prop manipulator takes damage. I have it decrement its score everytime its damaged. All works fine, its just they are visible on round one at the beginning of the game, and not visibile on round two (the way it should be).
ya @Hardcawcanary , I tried using a roundsettings to deactivate it at round start, but still does not work. Its fairly minor since it doesn’t affect gameplay, just would be nice if they were deactivated until the opposing team starts damaging the props.
If your only in a launched session, it may behave better on a private or public upload.
The issue of no pregame phase in a launched session, it sometimes does funny stuff to round one too.
Ya I have tested on private sessions and it does the same
