Im running 4.26.2 Source and the Nvidia 466 driver updated this week also, I am however, running an RTX 4000 not that should make a difference as it was broken before this weeks updates.
Sorry this hasn’t fixed it for everyone

Read my answer above for a working fix
Like shubyyy_yg said, >> this fix << should helps with the issue, but in my case, I also had to update UE4 to 4.26.2 and update Nvidia driver to 462.92 then reboot.
Card : RTX 2070
It’s actually a Windows update issue. Does not happen with Nvidia drivers and UE until a certain Windows 10 build was implemented.
well i got RTX2080S with multiple monitors, and had exact issue, but it seems it’s not related to unreal engine.
this fixes the problem as shubyyy_yg suggested, thanks shuby!
Thanks for the work-around. I’m trying the NVIDIA MPO disable workaround mentioned in one of the other posts, but that requires a restart. OBS lets me wrap up my work before doing a reboot.
Late to the party on this but this is still broken (Disabling MPO is pretty feelsbad)
(I am running the 466.27 driver, latest as of 2021-05-17)
Feedback thread for anyone interested: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/game-ready-drivers/13/425911/geforce-46109-game-ready-driver-feedback-thread-re/2981689/
Same issue here for months. If I drag the window from my 1440P@144hz over to my 4k@60hz it works just fine. but I restart the engine instead.
The problem still exists with 466.47 but the MPO reg fix worked for me. Anyone had any adverse effect of using the reg update fix?
Yes, that did it for me as well, here u go: After updating to NVIDIA Game Ready Driver 461.09 or newer, some desktop apps may flicker or stutter when resizing the window on some PC configurations | NVIDIA
Thanks to shubyyy_yg
Please set shubyyy_yg answer to solution!
Same issue, I reduced the size of the UE4 window and it works. But if I full screen it again it goes black. I clicked off the window and it went back to normal.
I have an RTX 3080 on the latest driver. UE 4.26
switching to the settings in number 3 fixed this for me. reverting back to “default color settings” brought the issue back immediately. i hope this helps someone
Nvidia released a patch for this issue.
I think I followed this guide to fix it.
https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5157/~/after-updating-to-nvidia-game-ready-driver-461.09-or-newer%2C-some-desktop-apps
Same here with 4.24 with a RTX 3080 and a Peaq 32" Monitor (2560 x 1440). This is the result with 4.24, it mostly happens after 20-30 minutes working with it.
When I installed the reg file, Netflix started to go black screen once in a couple of seconds. Does it happen to anyone else?
Than you, it works. Latest drivers, MPO ENABLED, and UE4 works like charm again.
Before change to Nvidia color setting, I have all issues like others. Crashes, disappearing menus, flickering …
Could you maybe write out what this fix was? The link you posted no longer works, and I’m having this same issue!
From context clues it seemed to be about the nvidia colour settings, but I change from ‘default’ to nvidia and it didn’t seem to fix the issue? Do I need to do something else?
Does this still work for you? Could you write out the solution? (The original link doesn’t work, so I can only guess, and what I tried didn’t seem to fix the issue).
Sadly, on latest drivers, problem comes back.
So using this After updating to NVIDIA Game Ready Driver 461.09 or newer, some desktop apps may flicker or stutter when resizing the window on some PC configurations | NVIDIA helped me another time.
Hi all
I recently upgraded to a 2080ti. And short after in 4.25 I experience the same problem.
Funny enough when I moved it over to my second, third or fourth monitor, then I can see the right-click option fine, and UE4.25 is working fine.
But on my main screen, it gives me the problem.
And just so we are all on the same page, “yes” I do have 4 monitors.
I tried updating Nvidia-drivers, and it still doesn’t fix the problem.
I even tried to switch back to my 1070x2 (SLI) and then I dont have any problems in UE4.
My theory is the drivers for the RTX series, but I could be wrong.
