Revision Control: Failed to connect to revision control

I cant use Unreal Revision control. Everytime i try to Accept settings it says Failed to connect to revision control. “Check your settings and connection then try again.” “Login Failed.”
How can i fix this?

Hi @SugaryMadness - it sounds like perhaps your authentication token has expired. Try logging in again via the “login” button at the bottom of the “Project” dropdown in UEFN. Alternatively restarting the editor should also do the trick.

I tried logging out and back in… and i tried logging out and deleting uefn and logging back in but nothing worked…

Hmm, do you mind sharing me your urc logs that are located in C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\urc\logs please? Maybe there is more information there about what is going wrong

I cant find that im sorry.

Make sure the checkbox for hidden items is turned on. Because AppData is a hidden folder

Has this been resolved. I am having the same issue. Can’t sync with my team.

Hey @Taylahw

Please share your logs in C:\Users*username* \AppData\Roaming\urc\logs
So we can see whether there is more information on why you cannot sync.

Hey @Nysuatro_1 , I’m having a somewhat similar issue. I can’t check-in changes anymore.

This is the error in the Log: LogSourceControl: Warning: RunCommandInternalRaw(project snapshot create): Errors = ‘Unexpected error during communication with file server.’
SourceControl: Error: Unexpected error during communication with file server.

Attached is the urc log

Thanks in advance!

@mattacreates Thank you for your report! Can you please re-post using the “New Issue” option on the Issues and Bug Reporting forums? Posts with this feature are connected directly into our development team so we can quickly get to them!

For more information, such as how to get the reference ID, please check out the article here: Using the Creative and UEFN Bug Reporting Form

Done! Thanks!

Hi, I am having the same issue but still can’t find a solution in this post can you help ?

I can try to. It only works on new projects… unfortunately i had to scrap my other projects that didnt work.

Go to island templets in the project browser and select the “Blank” but don’t create it yet.
Click on the little folder icon

Itll take you to your files on your PC. Click on “This PC” then double click your “Local Disk”

Inside your local disk create a new folder and call it anything you want maybe something relative to UEFN like UEFN Projects or something… then make sure you click on the folder and press “select Folder”…
The project location should say C:/The Name you gave the folder

If we had the same problem it should be fixed now… and you can create the project… UEFN doesnt like when your projects are saved in your one drive…
