Hello, I’m trying to make a simple Free for All game. I want players to always show up in Spawn Pads. Once I launch the game everything is fine. All players starts at Spawn Pads. At the end of the game (One round game), when the scorelimit or timelimit is reached, a menu will appear with Scoreboard and button PLAY AGAIN. When I press the button PLAY AGAIN, game start and all players spawn in the air. Why?
I don’t know if you got your answer, I don’t have this particular bug consistently but it happened to me many times, and I don’t know why. At first I thought the players that would overlap while spawning were launched into the air so I added many other spawn pads, but I still get this bug at times.
i am also having this issue. I have it set to be always active, for all teams, all classes, and have it set to be the island start, and have made it to spawn players on spawn pads, but it still spawns the players in the sky. Not sure why it does this and I cannot seem to get it to work.
So one thing that is funny that I found its that is seems to be having players skydive from a certain distance underneath the spawn pads. Maybe we can use that to our advantage?
Okay so I think i found the problem. It might be on the Unreal Engine’s and/or Fortnite’s side. I believe the issue is that the whole map needs to load first and when going into your edit session, it does not wait for the game to fully load. Whenever you go into your creative session, try giving it about a minute or two and then restart the round/game. That seems to work for me at least.
