Request to Unlock UEFN Project After Owner Ban

Summary

Hello,

I am facing a critical issue with a project created in Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN).

My friend and I spent several weeks working on a roleplay island. Unfortunately, some resources were extracted and locked by my friend, who has now been banned. As a result, I am no longer able to edit or modify these objects, and I am completely blocked from continuing development or publishing the island.

This project is very important to our team and represents many weeks of hard work.

Could you please unlock the resources or guide me on how to recover access?

I can provide all necessary information:

Epic Games username: My user mane: TipilTheGlitcher, my friends name: ytb slyzer_OFF

The user who extracted and locked the resources has been permanently banned.
I am the only remaining team member and need access to continue the project.

I made a mistake in the image, sorry. It’s not the right one. Here’s the right one.

Note : As the user who locked the resources has been permanently banned,
it is impossible for me to archive or synchronize these modifications.
I am fully blocked and need assistance unlocking the resources to continue the project.

If you’re the owner you can just unlock these assets by right clicking and clicking revision control or by following the documentation here

i’m not the owner

When you try and login to UEFN - Content Service
Can you login

If so look at this post where transfer of project takes place explained
Unable to transfer Fortnite Creative projects to a team without first opening them in UEFN. - General / Issues and Bug Reporting - Epic Developer Community Forums

You are adding yourself to the team and setting ALL permissions. You must be over 18 years old and have verified that status to works on teams management. All Team Members must be over 18 years. If you get a mother/father to join Fortnite then request to Epic Support that players between 13 to 18 be added to your Team.
If you do cheat on this age check you could get banned.

I didn’t have all the permissions, but my friend rank me administrator, then I republished a version but the problem persists

hi,
Well Google Translate gives the following

Resource Name -
Item Placer23
Item Placer7
Item Place8

Check-in failed: Assets have already been checked out

You made the changes to the following resources checked out by someone else. To resolve this issue:

  1. Ask your teammate to archive their changes.
  2. Sync to the last snapshot. This will cause conflicts between your local edits and the edits made by your teammate.
  3. Resolve conflicts.
  4. Archive your changes.

Tip: To avoid conflicts in the future, always sync to the latest version and check out resources before you start making your changes.

This is a problem with Unreal Revision Control is refusing to give control

Removing the folders and files described will turn off Unreal Revision Control ownership

This whole project needs copying from any remote network drive to a place like

C:\Users\juserNAME\Documents\Fortnite Projects

Then open the project using the project browser
in the bottom right click Revision Control and

Try to sync the project.
If that does not work select Disable Revision Control
your project belongs to you now
