Render Distance Issue since v36.0

Summary

I have received numerous amount of reports of players being able shoot through player builds due to it not rendering in correctly , players have also reported being able to shoot through shield bubble due to the same issue.

What Type of Bug are you experiencing?

Steps to Reproduce

  • shoot a wall from at least 15 tiles away.

  • the bullet should go through it due to the bug.

  • the other bug requires you to place the shield bubble item and the player should be able to shoot through it due to the bug.

Expected Result

  • the bullets should impact the player build and not go through it.

  • the bullet should be stopped by the shield bubble.

Observed Result

the bullets go through player builds and shield bubbles.

As well as this.. Islands in Creative 1.0 using the Oasis Island type may see their Island pull a houdini when at a distance now as if it’s an XL island LMAO

FORT-921616 has been created and its status is ‘Unconfirmed’. This is now in a queue to be reproduced and confirmed.

yep super annoying issue that’s ruining the experience on all bed wars games. hopefully they can fix

agreed hopefully epic can find the problem and get a fix out soon. bed wars games are somewhat unplayable at the moment :confused:
