I have a problem that I’ve been struggling with for days now. Recently I merged a bunch of complex actors together and found out they are not visible in any reflections. In the video, I showed an example of the Planar reflection but it’s replicated in all types of reflections.
I have Lumen reflections turned on and Visible in Reflection Captures is also turned on for actor. I rebuilt Reflection Captures and Lighting. Older unmerged actors are displayed correctly.
Another potential symptom is when I add reflection Capture Sphere it doesn’t do anything
Also, another discovery I just made if I convert this merged actor to Static Mesh it’s displayed correctly in the reflection. Can someone explain what is happening?
For those who have the same issue. I found a solution. In the Project Settings, I turned on Use Hardware Raytracing when Possible and it fixed the issue, now reflections look much better and all actors reflect in it.
