I want to get the lighting look in ImgB with is from the DMX starter project. I started with the basic level layout for my project in ImgA and I am using the same lights (blueprints?) the demo uses. What do I need to change or add to my project to get the look I want?
Unless there’s a global control in your BP system, you’ll have to go into the details panel for each light and manually adjust the volumetric scattering intensity to be the value you want. You could also adjust the extinction settings in the volumetric fog section of the exponentialheightfog actor.
Ok. Wow. Time to unpack. Please remember, I’m very new to Unreal.
I adjusted the blueprint (BP?) so that Volumetric Scattering Intensity is 0 and 10 to see if there were any changes. No change. Did the same with Indirect Lighting Intensity with the same result. I do not have an exponentialheightfog actor.
