UE5 newbie here … its Day 5 of learning this engine. I do this with remaking my favorite game Gothic 2.
I ran into the problem that masked textures don’t cast raytraced shadows. I read dozens of forum posts ect. Apparently thats unsolvable rn. Thats why I’m here. Maybe there is a solution. Because when i turn off raytraced shadows in the DirectionalLight it works, but not to an exceptable degree.

So my question is … is there a solution or workaround or do i just need to wait until the engine allows me to do raytraced shadows with masked materials?
