Hey folks, I’ve got into an issue with a cinematic I’ve been working on. For a little while I’ve been encountering strange lighting issues with my dog’s hair in Unreal. Originally I’d thought it was an issue with Blender incorrectly exporting my hair UVs, but now I’ve completely rebuilt the hair in Maya and after exporting I’m running into the same issue.
The hair is creating some wild shadow clusters. The shadows change depending on the camera distance and rotation in conjunction with the mesh and I feel like I’ve been through just about every lighting/object and groom parameter available. I was hoping someone had experienced something similar and has any advice on how to resolve? I’ve been on this project for a few months now and this particular issue is causing me quite a lot of grief. Thanks!
