I am from portugal, i tried 2 different cards same error " payment declined", first i made a temporary card that my bank provides wich is MBnet, then i got a specific card for online purchases from Webuy wich is from my bank too, my Webuy card i deposit 20€, but it then took some cents… dunno why but any way i got 19,70€ in the Card and i keep getting payment is declined… did anyone got it work for portugal? or any other? btw those cards are -Cards, i really wanna try the New Engine, but i already emai, and they sent me here… so i guess nothing i can do, but its a service problem not from my bank or my cards… guess i need to wait, and going back to cryengine…

OK first of all im from portugal, i have a debit card to buy things online, wich is more secure, i go to ATM and deposit money to that card, simple as that, lets say its 19€ + vat in my country is 23€, dont forget VAT, see that for your country, next i was going to buy the engine… but payment declined, i had the money in card, it was on website too! so i called support from my card and then they told me to wait for at least 48hours, because if you deposit From ATM, from another account, it need 48hours to confirm that, the only way its instant it to trasnfer online, wich i dont like! after 48hours it worked pretty fine, so it was my bad, sorry Epic for telling was your problem, people should see first their problem.
Check if you got money on card.
Check if the bank confirmed and you authorized to buy
Check your VAT and dont put just 19€ in card, my example was i need to put 23€ because of VAT
then you can buy it for sure!

i want to learn engine, i subscribed and downloaded the engine, and then i cancelled my subscription. will i be able to use it as long as i want without accessing future updates? or will i be only able to use it only for 1 month ?

You will be able to use version as long as you want.
Not getting any payment related problem, but still I read it thoroughly and found the information very useful.
So paypal should be an option for people without a credit card, but when I’m trying to get the subscription via paypal, it says I have to register a credit card on paypal???

I read an article, where someone from paypal wrote, for some companies a address is necessary for billings and so on, therefore a credit card is required, but I have no idea how that works.
I’ve just ordered an Credit Card now (should be here today/tomorrow), because I faced problem too many times and i don’t like paypal ._. .

Well, I wrote PayPal - hopefully they know a workaround. I never had an paying with credits from PayPal. Now the waiting starts again

yeah, kinda strange. I thought they integrated paypal, because many of the europeans where complaining about not having a credit card, therefore paypal would be great, but paypal with a credit card requirement is no solution at all.
I’ve just straight ordered a credit card. Costs me about 18€~ / year and will be sent by post within 4 days.

But one question: Why not simply getting a credit card?
to order a credit card just for the ue4 is really awkward.
But if you buy a lot on the internet anyway, it would be the better choice.
