MAJOR - No FootStep Audio

Explanation: Sometimes you do not hear footstep audio, this is a massive issue in my competitive practice maps and I have received about 100 complaints on twitter about this. Show / Hide gold and resources on island setting doesn't work / Not footstep sound

Hi, I’m working on a Fortnite Zero Build game mode and I want to hide the resources count and show the gold count, I do this in island settings but it won’t work, mats keep showing and no gold. Also there’s no footstep sound when you walk run or jump.

Re-enable player foostep audio?

Somehow my player footstop audio is disabled. Is there an easy way to re-enable? The rest of my island audio is playing fine but I’m missing any footstep / clamor audio. Thanks!

Hi - I’m almost ready to publish my island but somehow my player movement sounds have been disable (no running footsteps, etc) is there an easy way to reset? I’m not clear where this setting lives in the editor? Thanks! - KP

25.20 broke a few things.

Can’t here your own footsteps too. We’ve released a few days ago a map that relies on tactical/stealth gameplay (Fortnite Squad 🏖️ Greek Edition). Without footsteps it doesn’t feel great at all playing it. PS Submitted the bug through the form.

Tip: Physical Materials - specify the VFX/SFX for footsteps/pickaxe on Static Meshes.
