Players are spawning to pregame spawn pads, which are set to be enabled on “none” with only “use as island start” enabled. Usually they only spawn to these when they initially join the game with the setting “spawn on next round”.
As seen on the video on the initial spawn, the players spawn on the pregame spawners, where I have to teleport them to the arena to their regular spawn pads.
Could we have a clearer description of the expected behavior vs. the actual behavior, specifically how the island should function when the player joins the session?
I made separate bug posts but the spawn bugs seem to be linked together and some of the bug posts were “backlogged”.
Expected behaviour (Spawn on next round enabled):
Players queue to the game
They will start as a spectator unless the round is currently changing, otherwise they will spawn, as the next round is starting
They will spawn to their corresponding spawn pad. Either team 1 (Car Team) or team 2 (Rocket Team). Both teams have different spawn points, so they should be spawning to their own spawn area
Players play the round normally
Round changes, the teams rotate and former Team 1 players change to team 2 and vice versa. After that they spawn to their corresponding spawn pads.
Observed result (Spawn on next round enabled):
Players queue to the game
They will start as a spectator unless the round is currently changing, otherwise they will spawn, as the next round is starting
Players spawn to pre game spawn pads, to the sky, to opposing team’s spawn pads
Players play the round normally
Round changes, the teams rotate and former Team 1 players change to teams 2 and vice versa. After that they spawn to random locations (pre game island, sky, opposing team’s pads). Also, some players get the bug where they are just watching a wall
