Summary
The “persistence Behavior” settings in Island Settings rarely work (VERY RARELY), these are important for when we want to import live data like saved gold, stats progress, etc, otherwise we have to create debugging methods to work around this.
Example:
I create a leaderboard based on some saved data, like kills. I can’t quickly test this because it doesn’t pull my saved stats, so I have to either add a few test players or a button to increment this stat.

Island Settings
Steps to Reproduce
[MUST TEST WITH A CLIENT WITH SAVE PERSISTENT DATA]
-Enable ‘Import Live Data’ under Persistence Behavior: Edit Session and Playtest Session.
-I recommend testing with something simple like gold or eliminations. Either using the Save Point device to save gold, or verse persistence to save eliminations.
-Create ways to quickly view the saved data during a playtest session, either with a Billboard device to pull the saved stat, or just show the Gold resource on your UI if testing gold.
-Either A: Get some gold during a public game, save and exit. Or B: If using verse persistence, increment the saved stat you want to test (like an elimination), then exit.
-Open your project, then start an Edit Session.
-Test.
Expected Result
Live data should be imported to your Edit Session
Observed Result
Live data is very rarely imported (most likely it will not)
