I’ve added the Paragon Countess pack to my project. Is there any way to swap out her swords or are they part of her skeleton?
If they ARE part of her skeleton, is there any way to do hit detection when you “weapon bones” (the swords) hit something?

I’m sort of startled this hasn’t been addressed anywhere. Did about 10 mins of google searching.
As for hit detection, yes there are easy ways to get that set up, depending on the model you will be using and how you want the weapons to work. I would recommend Moize Opel’s videos on youtubes in reference to his boss BPs or his Setting up character melee attacks, they will get you started on things like that.
As for projectiles and linetraces, there are a ton of tutorials out there for that as well.
I can’t actually answer the question about swapping out weapons, and it’s something I’m interested in reference to revenant model. Maybe someone will see this necro’d thread and have a solution?
Anyways, hope you’ve been able to solve this since you posted. Cheers.
Anyways, if you’re still looking the answer is to just export the mesh into a 3d editor, and remove / replace the weapon. Use sockets in the UE4, and you’re good to go. Paragon models can be modified in this way without violation of the TOS of the assets themselves.
It will certainly take a bit of know how and educating yourself to execute, but it IS doable.
