Panini Lens Projection and Post Process buffers broken in 5.5

Hello! We’ve just moved to 5.5 and noticed the Panini Lens Distortion doesn’t behave the same way (i.e broken) on some buffers (scene depth, custom depth, world normal etc). It’s not an option for us to change the Blendable Location so everything has to be after the Tonemapper. To clarify this all worked fine in 5.3.

In the example below note that the scene depth buffer doesn’t seem to be a affected by the Panini Projection at all anymore, hence the double image. One with lens distortion and one without

Thanks Ben

Hi there,

Thank you for the report.

I have submitted a bug report for this issue, and once it is reflected publicly, you will be able to view it here: https://issues.unrealengine.com/issue/UE-368981

An engine developer will investigate the bug at a later date. We don’t provide updates on EPS, but progress can be followed on that public issue tracker page. I will go ahead and close this case now, but feel free to respond here if you have any follow up questions.

Best regards,

Henry Liu
