[PAID][CONTRACT][REMOTE] Looking for a dev with experience in HLSL and compute shaders

Introduction
My team at ThirdPixel Interactive is working on the game Smack Studio, a fighting game that includes pixel art animation software to allow players to create their own playable characters.

Job description
Our animation software uses a compute shader to render 2D images in 3D. We’re looking for a senior developer with experience in graphics programming to help us improve on our method and troubleshoot issues as we prepare for our game’s 1.0 launch, as well as ports to Mac and console.

Hours are flexible, and this will likely be a part-time role to start. We’re able to offer a competitive hourly rate for someone with the right skillset.

Requirements

  • Experience programming shaders using HLSL or a related programming language
  • 3+ years in game development or a related field
  • Experience with compute shaders in Unreal Engine is preferred
  • Knowledge of GPU hardware or methods for testing GPU code (such as NVIDIA Nsight) is preferred
