Packaged map not updating

When I package my project, my map is not updating to the newest build. There is an old build -somewhere- that is still being packaged rather than the most recent. I’ve tried:

  • building lighting only
  • doing a full build
  • Checking the “Force full rebuild” box in project settings
  • Deleting the package destination folder
  • Deleting the Saved, Intermediate, and Binaries folders
  • Deleting my LIGHTS, rebuilding and repackaging.

None of this has changed the build that ends up in the packaged build.

What is going on?

Please try the following:

  1. In your Project folder, delete the Intermediate, Saved, and Config folders (not Binaries)
  2. In the Content Browser, Content folder, right-click and select “Fix Up Redirectors in Folder”
  3. Rebuild All
  4. Save All
  5. Package

*Make sure a “clone” does not exist in your “Unreal Projects” folder.

If it still does not work, locate and post the entire package log here in a text file.
