Open World Foliage Disappears when I look at it or at certain angles. Help plz

Hey all;

I painted some mega scans grass down into my open world level.

When I look directly at the grass or from certain angles it disappears.

The white line shown on the left if the open world grid.

Turns out I just had to ad LODs to my Folliage. I was hitting some upper limit in instances. BUT I needed to add lods anyways so it works out

Waite. Almost had it.
That got me farther along. But I am still hitting an eventual upper limit of where too many grass instances and it disappears.

Tried both
r.Raytracing.Geometry.InstancedStaticMeshes.Culling 0
foliage.forceLOD 0
and no luck yet.

I seem to be hitting some limit on how many polygons I can have of a single foliage on screen

Just tried Enable World Offset and no go

  • LOD your grass
  • foliage.MaxTrianglesToRender ← Crank up this variable
